Bas van Daalen (born April 25, 1996) better known by his stagename Will Grands^[1] is a record producer, singer^[2] and songwriter from Waalwijk, The Netherlands.

Van Daalen grew up in a small city Waalwijk. When Bas was 6 years old, he started playing songs he heard on radio and television. A year after Bas and his parents (Hennie van Daalen and Marina van Daalen) thought it was better for him and his musical development to get piano lessons and took Bas to music school "De Terp". He saved up money to buy the keyboard he wanted, which was the Yamaha PSR S-500 that he saw being played by a musician at the local music shop. He started to record melodies he made on his keyboard on the record function it had and started to "stack" up the layers he made with different sounds. He also learned to play guitar. After 7 years he stopped taking lessons but kept playing. He felt I was acting like a robot and playing songs from other artists all over again, and he wanted to create real songs on his own. When he got his first computer, Bas started to create music in a different way. He didn't know how that worked and started to make music in video editing software called Sony Vegas Pro. After a while he noticed that there was specific software for making music and he installed the Fruity Loops demo to create his music. After seeing DJ Tiësto on television he felt inspirational and started to create his first songs.

At the age of 13,started to create EDM (Electronic Dance Music).His professional carreer started when he reached out to Willem van Schijndel, who helped him setting up his musical carreer and learning him the way through music industry. He connected with other DJ's and producers and got picked up by Jasper Helderman (better known as DJ Alvaro). When they started to collaborate Bas was studying for audio/visual production. He quit school at the age of 18 to fully commit to his musical work. To make money he started to (co) produce for local DJ's that needed productions to play in their DJ sets. At the age of 16 Van Daalen started to (co) produce, compose for established artists.
