Z magazine for Balkans
Freedom Fight is producing ZMag Balkans, a new print magazine in Serbo-Croatian language, for Balkan audiences, modeled on Z Magazine US and utilizing content from it as well as local content bearing more directly on the Balkans.
I was very pleased to learn about the plans for Zmagazine for the Balkans. It should be a most valuable contribution. I hope it is very successful, and that it is a spark that will inspire other such efforts in the region and throughout the world.
Noam Chomsky
I am happy to hear there will be a Balkan edition of Z Magazine. I'm sure it will be a great contribution to progressive thought in that important part of the world. It will contribute to the idea of international solidarity among working people everywhere. You have my best wishes,
Howard Zinn
I am delighted that people in the Balkans will now have access to a left perspective with Z magazin balkan. This is a perspective that I believe comes much closer to people’s real needs than that provided from the advertising and government subsidized media. We desperately need such eye-opening to enable us to intelligently confront the ugly effects of neoliberalism and the Washington (and NATO) Consensus.
Edward S. Herman
It is promising that there are efforts in the Balkans aimed at building a new society, separate from elite dominated national and international relations, corporate globalization, etc. and that one practical step towards realizing that vision is the creation of a Balkans ZMagazine. It is a sign of hope.
