Forest Treekeeper is man who used to live in Germany.

I am now retired and living in the Lake District in UK and enjoying a peaceful life after years of slog. My hobbies include wandering through forests and noting the different kinds of trees and how they grow, also hill wandering.

My fascination with trees comes from the fact that my Father was a Forest Research Scientist and we always lived near a large forest and I used to love drifting through the woods. Trees are magnificent creations of Nature, they stand defenseless yet serene and provide us with all kinds of benefits even today.

As for hill-wandering, the Lake-District is an absolute dream especially Gummers How - what a magnificent view of Lake Windermere one gets!

I used to be very active in Freemasonry in Germany, but have since resigned from my German Lodge. I am a member in a Lodge here but no longer quite as active as I used to be. I still have contacts with some of my German Masons and it grieves me to see how my old Grand Lodge is being attacked by unkind persons. Well done Fiddlersmouth and Coronatum Veritas for your vigilance; I too am joining the crusade to keep the web-page clean.
