User:Fnorp

Hi.

Fnorp is a person from the Netherlands. Active contributor of the Dutch Wikipedia. Here mostly to change "Holland" into "the Netherlands" when necessary* but easily tempted to add some knowledge about beer and, perhaps, my two countries. Churches are my speciality.

Fnorp is NOT a real name.

  • I'll try to be as careful as possible when replacing "Holland" with "the Netherlands" but things can go wrong once in a while. Please excuse me when that happens, I have no intention to make a mess of things, just want to get the facts right. If everybody would get it right to begin with I wouldn't have to do this. Yes, I think getting the facts right is very important for an encyclopedia. Would you trust an encyclopedia that used 'Wales' instead of 'United Kingdom'? Or 'Texas' instead of 'United States'? Neither would I.

This user is from the Netherlands, but not from Holland (and thinks more people should know the difference).

Here is a semihemidemibarnstar for <Your unceasing efforts to point out that Operation Market Garden took place in Gelderland, not in Holland>
