Ozi Amanat(born on June 24, 1978) is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Spice Global, an Indian conglomerate operating in the sectors of telecom, finance, entertainment and technology. Ozi is responsible for devising strategies for growth through new businesses, managing and monitoring the Group’s portfolio of assets, acting as the liaison between investors and the company and streamlining risk management. He is also on the Board of Directors and CEO of the company’s Family Office. Spice Global is headquartered in Singapore, with operations in Los Angeles, New York, Kuala Lumpur, London, Dubai, Nepal, Bangladesh, Uganda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka and Shenzen. In 2011, the company's aggregated assets totalled US$2 billion with over 10,000 employees worldwide.[2]

EARLY LIFE:

Career:

A Harvard graduate, Ozi was the managing director and CIO of a multi-billion dollar family office in New York City prior to joining Spice Global. He also served as a director at Oppenheimer and Co. Inc, an assets management and financial advisory service firm. He was on the board of Mount Sinai Hospital Department of Medicine and continues to be on the board of directors of Seeds of Peace, a non-profit conflict transformation organisation. Amanat has also been a member of the Synergos Global Philanthropist Circle.

Social Life:

Ozi is serving on the boards of Mount Sinai Hospital, Baylor College of medicine (Presidents Circle) and Seeds of Peace, an organization promoting global peace and understanding among youth from regions in conflict around the globe.

Awards and Recognition:

Ozi received the Seeds of Peace’s Young Peacemaker Award for his outstanding philanthropic work and entrepreneurial pursuits in 2010.
