Alex Collins (Songwriter/Composer) Alex Collins, born Alexander Joseph Collins on 13th August 1980, is a singer/songwriter and composer from Kent in the South East of England. Married to photographer Kia Lydia Collins.

Alex Collins is beat known for his work with Delayed Experience and his album the Pilot.

In Alex's early music career he was the singer of Indie/Electro band Delayed Experience. Formed with best friend and long term collaborator George Nicola, the pair along with their guitarist, bassist and drummer, created anthemic soundscapes and produced energetic and emotional live performances. Delayed Experience's hits include; Sound for the Soul, Al Pounder, Gravity and Lights Burn.

In 2009, Alex left Delayed Experience to concentrate on a solo career. Throughout the next few years Alex continued to perform live at various venues and festivals in the UK. Alex released his debut album the Pilot in 2014. The pilot featured stand out songs; Hands Keep Turning, Maps, Pioneers, the Pilot and the debut single Two Tonne Bomb.

In 2015, Alex began work on his latest project the Kronos EP. This project featured five tracks of instrumental soundscapes, which involved working with classical musicians and long term collaborator George Nicola as co-producer.
