I am Eric Matthews and my contributions on this account are associated with my employment at ITO World Ltd and are part of Ideas in Transit , a five-year government funded research project that applies User Innovation principles to the transport challenges faced by individuals and society.

My work is part of the Wikipedia Engagement workstream where we are exploring how effective Wikipedia can be for communicating information about proposed transport schemes. To this end my first goal is to add information to Wikipedia for all articles relating to transport schemes in the East of England and we are building a full list of schemes in List of future transport developments in the East of England. All contributions will meet the wikipedia Neutral point of view requirements - if not then please let me know! I have taken over from Helio Smith.

Like my predecessor I upload the images I create for Wikipedia to Wikimedia Commons. My user page on the Commons is here.

I also contribute to the Ideas in Transit wiki as EricM, and the OpenStreetMap wiki as EricITO.

Current Goals

Community Infrastructure Fund: Create page, create category, fill category with all transport schemes funded by it.
