Wow, links are easy. I can feel the scales falling from my eyes and after many months of browsing and using Wikipedia for many things, both personal and professional, I'm starting to understand both the appeal and the ease of contributing to it.

Ahhh! Here's the Films WikiProject! And the Film Infobox Template. Need to read more about that.

Found several weird formatting problem with external links to other web sites. The Brian Aldriss and Anthony Burgess page, and the Le Petomine page all have this. What's the correct way to link to an external page from within the text of WikiP with something other than the URL, i.e., "using anchor text"?

There's some weird extra space after an external link on this page - see "documentation":

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backronym

Also, this is a different way of making an external link - which is preferred?
