Born in Detriot,Mi. raised; in Benton Harbor, Mi, Cincinnati, OH, and South Bend,Indiana. EL Kapone was a son of a NAACP leader and preacher, the late Rev Lawrence E. Crockett. EL Kapone was raised around music in church and in his home. EL Kapone sister use to sing in the family church choir. His brother use to dj at house parties, and other various events at a young age. EL Kapone favorite qouate, "The Mid West Molded me." EL Kapone started writing songs at the age of 16. By the age of 17 formed a 3 man group named. C.O.D. members included G Sharp and Moosalini. EL Kapone is featured on several mixtapes such as; Under Ground Hustling v15(Intriz Ink) which features Krazyie Bone + Plies, Blowin Up On Purpose(PimpLife Wreckords), United Hoodz of Amercia v1(United Hoodz Enterprise and debute mixtape ELM Street.
