ACE of HEARTS POKER SERIES The ACE of HEARTS POKER SERIES was founded in June 2010 by David Robinson owner of Thunderbird Sports & Entertainment of Mississauga, Ontario Canada The purpose of this poker series is to raise money for local charities and non profit sports groups. These are live tournaments held in local community halls and recreation centers generally one per month during the fall winter and spring season. The tournaments do not serve liquor but a free col buffet and beverages are included with the buy in fee. The buy in fee is ussually $40.00 and goes straight to the pot where the top 10% of players are eligible to win. The charity makes money on the re-buys and add-ons as well the sale of 50/50 tickets and ny sponsorship that can be aquired. The tournaments are professionaly run and organized by a top notch poker tournament organizer.
