  DVINE1's Background: D1 was Born and Raised in Long Beach, CA with the passion for music performing with a full live band at the age of 12. He grew up playing in bands in the heydays of the scene with groups such as: Sublime, No doubt, Reel Big Fish, Hepcat, etc. D1 studied music production at L.B.C.C. and at the University of South Florida electronic music program Sycom, D1's musical journey lead him to live between Jamaica and US for seven years as well as performing/producing in Jamaica, US, UK, France, Whales,Canada etc. 

  After winning the World Championship of Performing Arts for best band with Tribal Style,D1 returned to california and took a Hiatus from professional music for a few years,but in the meanwhile of his hiatus his journey began of being a music accompanist for yoga and took up his love for visual arts.He co-formed an artist collective called "The Dvine" of which the name DVINE1 descended from,that had several gallery shows and live art performances.
 
    In 2009 D1's musical flame was rekindled by the invitation of FreQ Nasty to perform with him at Burning Man (Hookahdome Fullmoon set FreQ Nasty vs DVINE1) which was an epic event in the timeline for DVINE1, that eventually led him to perform with the David Starfire Live Ensemble, than onto being a member of the Dub Kirtan All Stars.
    In 2015 he became the artistic director of Imaginary Label (label) a multi-genre label based out of Long Beach,Ca./LA/Worldwide www.imaginarylabel.com

D1 is currently working on an upcoming project to be released under the moniker LEXNEVEL (Epiphany Symphony Project) and can be found rocking the local socal beach city scene with The Latest Craze(Band) www.lexnevel.com www.tlclbc.com www.dvine1.com
