Dr Akram Kabbara was born in Ghana 1966. He migrated to Autsralia in the year 1989. There He completed his BSc studies in 1992 at The University of Melbourne (Australia), and PhD studies at La Trobe University in 1997. He then worked as s Research Officer at The University of Sydney (1998-2000), Research Fellow at Monash and Melbourne Universities (2000-2004). He was appointed as A/Professor at Qassim University (Saudi Arabia)at The Faculty of Medicine in 2005. His main area of research and teaching is muscle cell physiology.
