• Born first generation Canadian to immigrant parents from Europe at Branson Hospital in North York, Ontario.
• Grew up in the small town of Richmond Hill, Ontario Canada, a suburb of the Greater Toronto Area.

• Attending Charles Howitt Public School, he began his venture into the world of entertainment on stage. Having been in school plays, he took to performance thoroughly and enjoyed his time on stage. Although fond of the spoken word, William also wanted to discover the art of bringing the stories and ideas to paper and life from inception. Opting to create sets and assisting with production management, he also lent his hand to “behind the scenes” work.
• Eager to investigate the use of film in school projects. Applying a creative touch to each mini-production, staff and students looked forward to watching upcoming films. It was towards the end of his elementary school experience that William was given the use of an 8mm digital video camera by his parents. At a time when these cameras were $5000.00, it was not taken lightly.

• Upon entering Langstaff Secondary School, Lucas was writing short films, books, screenplays, and directing his work. With a love for post-production creation and creative control over his final product, editing would follow.
• Soon to follow would be a dive into drama and acting.
  • Participated in the school theatre as cast and crew
• A significant pull towards the sciences allowed Lucas to follow a post secondary education in the sciences.

• Attended University of Toronto – Engineering School
• Attended York University - Environmental Science and Urban Planning Schools

• Age 4 - “Bill” began playing competitive soccer for the town of Richmond Hill
• Age 8 - soccer became the focus of his young years and soon would be a professional career goal
• Age 12 - averaging 2 to 3 points per game, the young center mid-fielder / striker was being looked at by scouts in the USA.
• Age 15 – Invited to attend the New York Cosmos Draft Camp
  • Having grown almost 6 inches in that calendar year, lower back pain prohibited him from potential professional league play..
• Age 19 – the “beautiful game”, was just that, beautiful.
