"The Man" is a science fiction short story by Ray Bradbury. It was first published in the February 1949 issue of Thrilling Wonder Stories. It was also published in the 1951 book The Illustrated Man, Classic Stories 2, The Best Science Fiction Stories: 1950, S is for Space, Long After Midnight, and Bradbury Stories: 100 of His Most Celebrated Tales.
