This page is to honor a fictional ghost writer, Jerry A. Rutherford. Jerry Rutherford is from the Central Coast of California. He enjoys ultimate Frisbee, Indian food, and surfing. Jerry is currently writing a fictional autobiography of his work with State software and intermixed his study of the Mayan Calendar. Included below is working copy of chapter 1.

The wind swept over the grassy plains like a natural premonition for either the cool calm of night or perhaps a cloudburst that happened in the plains of North Central Oklahoma in May. Jerry stopped the car to see if there was wifi here, perhaps in vain. Last night was still on his mind. Jenny Merriweather, famed tree sitter rocked Jerry to his inner core. Suddenly his thoughts turned back to EFIS. How would he be able to reboot the system without wifi connection? He needed the connection like a train needed a track. His jaw tightened as his mind returned to the night before when, in a moment of blind weakness and hunger, he disabled EFIS without giving notice. What about the end users he thought, the poor unsuspecting users? Perhaps, this would be the trigger point, the first in a series of fallen dominos, leading to the demise of the human experiment. This one mistake would surely bring the Mayan prophecy to bear. One thing he hadn't planned on that during that night in May, infoadvantage delayed the launch of Mayan prophecy. The gears of time had seemingly lost a tooth, the stars and planets were suspended, light particles stopped in their tracks. Quetzalcoatl was to have his revenge on Jerry.
