Dean Marshall was born in Grantham, Lincolnshire . from a very young age he caught the acting bug and was involved in many productions in his local area. During one summer when he was at the tender age of just 17 he performed as a magician in spain, providing close up and stage magic for hotel guests. On leaving school he trained at Liverpool Hope university where he did a performing arts degree, In which he excelled and gained himself a 2.1 bachelor of honours degree. While at university he became involved in many different extracurricular activities, attending drama groups and workshops, further increasing his skills as a performer. He even ran his own theatre company within the university which he comically names Don’t Have a clue, this involved improvisational comedy and short sketches. After university he decided to stay in the north west and take advantage of the acting offers there. As soon as he left university he was landing acting jobs in the area , one of which was the very successful Production of the Emperors new clothes at the unity Theatre in Liverpool, His performance of the evil character of the chancellor , where he was utilised not just for his acting skills but also his singing, this gained him great applaud and even had an article in the Famous Stage magazine commending his performance Since then Dean has lended his talents to all forms of the Industry from touring theatre, theatre in education , to adverts, short films and Feature films. Recently he has Landed a leading role in a brand new feature Film set for cinema release early 2014
