Ms. De La Pera

Synopsis:

Ms. De La Pera was born on September 8th, 1993. Ms. De La Pera lives in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, and she is a high school student, although she wants to go live and study in England. She is a very creative woman, and, since she was in 6th grade, she has known all she wants to be is a writer. She has become truly ambitious with her dreams. She will live on, she hopes, for she is curently writing a novel based upon her falling in love, the title of which should remain un-spoken.

Early Years

Ms. De La Pera was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, on the day of September 8th, 1993, at 10 A.M. She is the second child of her parents, Marina and Raul. She claims that when she was two years old was when she realized she was alive. Back then, she used to live in Doral Plaza, which was an apartment building in Guaynabo, where she lived with her parents and older sister. After that life-changing event, she developed quite well, with the exception of not being able to socialize well with other children, a fact that she hid quite well from her parents. When she was three years old, though, she was slightly traumatized by seeing her uncle dead in the funeral; her great aunt, now deceased, took her to see the corpse even though her mother told her great aunt not to do it. She has exibited a form of trauma while writing as she has taken in accounts of her childhood into her writings. Other than those singular moments from her childhood, none other seem to have effected her well enough to have an influence on her nowadays.

Elementary School Years

Ms. De La Pera went to a private Catholic school in Guaynabo, which was somewhat oppressing for her. The school (at least the elementary school) was to become an opressive enviroment as well as a dread for her. She was a lonely child, for she had problems socializing, as mentioned before, and had very little friends.

Her grades were not a problem, except when confronted by a few un-desireable teachers which would make her day in school a living hell. Apart from that, she was an honor student and very quiet.

Something very impactating in her life that occurred while she was an elementary school student was that she started reading frequently. Harry Potter became her favorite book (as it still is), as it was there for her when no one else was. In a way, Harry Potter changed her life because, after reading it, she decided to become a writer herself and live in England. She knew that it had made a great impact on her, but she had no realized how much of an impact until later when she read all of the books (she started with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix).

High School and Present

Today, Ms. De La Pera remains in the same school, but in the high school. Its enviroment is very different from what was the oppressive elementary school - it is much more open and liberating, although still keeping within itself the Catholic mottos of life and how it should be lived.

Concerning friendship, Ms. De La Pera has gained two great friends, Abbey and Natasha, both of whom she has always confided in and hopefully will always remain close to.

Overall, Ms. De La Pera would like to reveal this about herself:

Hey there reader! I'm sure you're probably reading this while judging everything I stand for. I seriously wish you to know me well enough to know that I demand to be different. I don't like to come on too strong, but I have to say these things to not be confused with someone who might not be me at all.

I like to think, a little too much, in Abbey's opinion. I spend most of my time thinking. In fact, I consider myself to be a thinking machine!

I also like to read, a lot. My favorite authors being J.K. Rowling, Charles Dickens, H.G. Wells, Edgar Allan Poe, and Ray Bradbury. I love writers who can make you feel as if the story were to come true, even if it were impossible in real life.

I pride myself in my goals and what I have achieved in life. I plan to study in England and become a great writer. I will like to be like one of those described above.

I am a bit odd, I have to say. If you ever achive knowing me truly, as I am, with or without all my flaws, you will come to know a different, brilliant, random, nice person. I wish you all of luck in finding her within me.
