“Babylon” is an upcoming 2021 musical romance movie directed by Damien Chazelle and is starring Emma Stone, her second time working with Chazelle, and Brad Pitt. It is currently still in the early filming stages, but the film has been set to release for December 25 2021. It is being produced by Tobey Maguire, Olivia Hamilton and Marc Platt, who produced La La Land. The film is also being distributed by Paramount Pictures with film producer Adam Siegel as Executive Producer. The films production was rumored in July, 2019 by numerous sources including The Hollywood Reporter and Variety Magazine. The film was then confirmed with further evidence and information in November of that year. One of the key pieces of the movie, is that it’s set in an old period in Hollywood, Los Angeles and follows a women and man who possibly become lovers, like that in Chazelle’s 2016 La La Land. The film also contains a cast of characters which vary from fictional and real.
