I live in the UK. I was an admin here as well as being one on Wikinews. I have made this many edits (a nice link -- you can see when and where too).

While my account only dates from December 2004, I've been using Wikipedia since it was Nupedia! Over the years I made occasional IP edits, but never felt the need to make an account nor poke about in the Wikipedia: namespace, so was oblivious to all the behind-the-scenes activity.

Come December 2004, I decided to take a more active role, but then was side-tracked somewhat by the fledgling Wikinews. I'm now more active on Wikipedia once again.

Here, I tend not to do much article writing - sorry! I do undertake the occasional expansion, and sometimes overhaul articles, but that's rare. The only major article I've ever created is tsunami warning system.

Instead, I'm largely a wikignome, re-writing articles for clarity and fixing minor mistakes.

I award this Barnstar to Dan100 for your great job doing just about all patrolling in #wikipedia-en-vandalism for a while. Doing a great job with no one else patrolling most of the time.
