DTRY was my user name while I was frequenting the Pantip.com webboard. I used to debate in Ratchadamnern (politics) and casually talk in Chaloemthai (entertainment, especially manga and anime.) Those days are over since Ratchadamnern board is less and less civil, and Chaloemthai board are full of elitists calling people "jarhead" and otaku freaks who love to have soft-core porn "fanservice" in their manga, instead of a good plot.

It has been three years since I've written this page. Oh how naive I was back then! When the dust settled and I can fully see what happened, things are not the same anymore.

I still love democracy though. In fact, I love it more than I ever did. All of those on my hate list are still there, but some have fallen off my love list...

Love Democracy, constitutional democracy that is.

Hate Thaksin Shinawatra, after agreeing with his first cabinet for some time - until he said that a protest to George W. Bush on APEC is disloyalty to the King.

Hate the recent coup d'etat, that disrupts democratic process which is working to oust Thaksin. Also because the CDRM claimed their loyalty to the King - despite the fact that He wants a quick and clean democratic election.

Hate Sondhi Limthongkul, after believing him for some time - until he started dragging the King into the mess.

Hate Chamlong Srimuang, after I worshipped him as a hero of Democracy for a long time since 1992 - until he requested a military coup a few months ago.

Hate Sonthi Boonyaratglin, after I trusted him as a democratic, new-age soldier - until he made the coup.

Love King Bhumibol Adulyadej, even though there're suspicions that He's behind the coup, His past actions in support of Democracy, and the well-being of the people, still seal my faith in him. Although I wish he should scold Sonthi like He did to Suchinda in 1992.
