Maddie Koster, (born Madeleine Lydia Koster) was born on September 2nd, 1991. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI with the parents Rebecca Koster and Mitchell Koster. She has two sisters, Grace Elizabeth and Ella Jane. She now resides in Oxford, MI.

Early Life

In seventh grade she got interested in filming and acting with her friends. She filmed several movie "previews" for nonexistant mockumentaries. In eigth grade she won the local girl's competition Miss Kiss. She also took a semester-long Theatre class in her school Oxford Middle School, and joined the Drama Club. Despite her ability to sing, she never joined choir or took vocal lessons.

Her sisters and mother took dance lessons most of their life but she only did for about a year when she was six. She joined the orchestra in sixth grade, and is skilled in the cello.

Claire Ryan

On the season premiere of her show, "The Office," she announced that she was the popstar Claire Ryan. As part of the show, the first episode revolved around meeting the characters and announcing that she was Claire Ryan. The episode also showed proof she was the popstar when she dressed up in the black wig, sunglasses, and started singing.

"I really loved to act, and since Claire Ryan couldn't act because she needed the sunglasses and the bright lipstick. And even though I made up Claire Ryan so I could be a normal girl off the stage, acting was more important to me than that. So I took the part as Maddie Koster in 'The Office' and wrote the first episode." She quoted to the Associated Press the day after 'The Office' premiered.
