Cody O'Neil Harry popularly known "Commander" was born on the 10th April 1989 at Bartica, a small but thriving town located in the Essequibo River. He attended the Holy Name Nursery and Primary School, graduating from the latter as one of the top students, second only to friend and classmate Wendell Cameron. After graduation, he attended the Bartica Secondary School, given a place in the A class based on his performance at the S.S.E.E examinations.

At Bartica Secondary, he studies mostly business subjects and in 2005 he wrote the C.S.E.C exams and again he topped the school and region. However he again placed second this time to former classmate. After graduating high school, he worked at the Department of Education - Region #7 for a period of 10 months. In September of 2006 he relocated to Georgetown to fulfill his dream of attending the University of Guyana. As fate would have it's way, his dreams were soon shattered as he realized that going to that institution was nothing close to what he expected. He however, attended classes for two years, quitting in 2008 after failing almost all his Mathematics courses.

During the next two years, he worked part time jobs in and around Georgetown. He is now an Information Technology Consultant working on behalf on various companies and individuals nationally and internationally.

He is actively involved in volunteer activities mainly with Youth Challenge Guyana, and enjoys sports including cricket, tennis and volleyball but is mostly seen at the golf course at Lusignan golf course teeing off on Saturdays.
