Online identity Students' exchange of feedback both with teachers and their peers is possible through LMS. Teachers may create discussion groups to allow students feedback and increase the interaction in course. Students' feedback is an instrument which help teachers to improve their work, identify what to add or remove from their courses, where students feel more comfortable, what makes them be more included.


Article Analysis (W3)

Paul Patterson (neuroscientist)

  • Is the article's content relevant to the topic? Are some areas under- or over-developed? Yes the article is relevant to the topic because all the information is about Paul Patterson. I would say that some areas in the article are under developed needs a lot more information about Patterson.
  • Is it written neutrally? I would say that the article is neutral , there are a few points that i found interesting.
  • Does each claim have a citation? Are the citations reliable? No the citations are not that reliable and do not have citation in each claim.

What can you add? Consider posting some of your ideas to the article's Talk page. What i would add to this page would be to add citations to be able to find the source and also i would add a little more information to the article.

  • Is everything in the article relevant to the article topic? Is there anything that distracted you? I found the article very interesting it is about Nasa research Because of its unique structure, work happens at various 'centers of excellence' and different research areas are concentrated in those centers. Depending on the technology, hardware and expertise needed, research may be conducted across a range of centers. There was nothing that distracted me i thought the article was very interesting.
  • Is any information out of date? Is anything missing that could be added? There were a few things out of date because a lot of things were in the 1970's. I don't think anything really needs to be added, must things are very detailed and interesting.
  • What else could be improved? The only thing i can think of that can be update is that they should see whats going on now with NASA research and more about medicine in space because i feel that is very important to know more about.
  • Is the article neutral? Are there any claims that appear heavily biased toward a particular position? I believe this article is neutral because there are no bias information.
  • Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented? There are points that are underrepresented where there should be more details in medicine in space.
  • Check a few citations. Do the links work? Does the source support the claims in the article? Yes the link works, and yes the source claims in the article
  • What kinds of conversations, if any, are going on behind the scenes about how to represent this topic? The conversations on wiki project space flight, Astronomy, aviation, environment.

How is the article rated? Is it a part of any WikiProjects, Yes this is part of a wiki project.

  • How does the way Wikipedia discusses this topic differ from the way we've talked about it in class? The way they discuss it on wikipedia is more different because i feel that there is less information when teaching it in class i feel like you learn more when a teacher is telling you about then reading it on wiki.
