Carl is a goalkeeper for Cullompton Rangers 3rd Team. Plays In Intermediate One Of The Devon And Exeter Football League.



Career


Cullompton Rangers

Carl started playing football for cullompton at the age of 8 and made several appearances for the under 8 team scoring only 2 times as a midfielder. Carl Continued to Play for cullompton until the age of 13 making over 100 appearances over 6 years and decided to leave after disagreements with the under 13 manager. Scoring 11 goals in his last season being joint top scorer. Carl scored his first Hat-Trick against local rivals Culm United in the 7-1 win in the league.


Kentisbeare Colts

After leaving Cullompton Carl signed with local team Kentisbeare Colts and made his debut on Sunday 13th of February 2004 against Moors Youth scoring the only goal for his side in a 6-1 loss. Carl continued to play for Kentisbeare for 1 more season scoring 8 over the years. His most luckiest goal he scored against Minehead town was a 40 yard volley with the keeper dropped into the net. He left Kentisbeare in march 2005.


Sampford Peverall

Carl went on to join Sampford after the manager asked him to play. He Scored on his debut against Langport after hitting the post 3 times before he made sure it went in. Carl went on to help Sampford reach the second round of the cup and became there top goal scorer with 16 goals. Whilst playing at Sampford Carl spent 1 month out because he was knocked down by a car but he said to his manager one day that he will come back with a bang and on September 18th 2005 he scored a hat-trick against Wessex youth. The week after Carl was called up to play for Sampford A against wellington town and recorded his second hat-trick in consecutive weeks. Carl missed the last game of that season against his former team Kenisbeare due to a suspension. The team folded at end of season.


After a few years away from football Carl signed for Cullompton Rangers 3rd team in September 2007.


Cullompton Rangers

Carl made his debut for cullompton against Culmstock which he scored in against his now second goal keeper. Carl secured his place that season as a striker and went on to score 8 goals and Carl ended up playing in goal at the end of the season where he still plays today. Carl has kept 3 clean sheets his season and Cullompton are now in the semi-final of the cup and 3rd in the league.
