Rashad Steele was born on June 24, 1987 in Houston, Texas). He won the 1994 Houston area spelling bee by successfully spelling the word Brobdingnagian. After the spelling bee Rashad vowed to help the youth in his community and curve the literacy rate in communities through out the Houston area. Rashad attended Dean Middle School in 1998 where he met Ivan Lambert aka Sir LongAlot, and Chris Moore aka DJ Gorilla Handz. Rashad then Formed the group "The Nawf Side Swanga Boys". At the age of 15 Rashad started his first business called "Shaddi's Place".Where he teaches inner city youths the importance of scholastic achievement.

Creating a street buzz off his self-made mix tapes,he began to generate interest off many major labels,including Duce out tha Roof Records,and Roach on a Wall Records. He went on to release the mix tape "Wax That Ass Vol. 1" which was a major success in the Houston area and sold over a million copies.

In 2010, Rashad Steele started a record company of his own, and signed his Jr. high classmate Chris Moore aka DJ Gorilla Hanz. The Two Collaborated on a Pop Screw album which will be released Later This Fall. Rashad Then Signed Ivan Lambert aka Sir Long-A-lot, who released a hit single on July 15th titled "Many Meats".
