Christopher George Poll is an economist, an investment manager, a statistician, a quantitative and research analyst as well as a successful entrepreneur.

He has been in the City for nearly 40 years and is a former investment manager and investment banker turned stockbroker and then entrepreneur. He was founder, financier and Chairman of Micropal 1983-1997, before its sale to Standard & Poors. He combines “the city” with international business experience - from being an investment manager to actually building and running an international trading company.

In 1995, he chaired the Round Table on the Future of Hong Kong in both London and Hong Kong. Then in June 1997 he was invited to be an International Advisory Board Member for the PRI Hong Kong Free Market Index. Between 1998 – 2002 he advised the Chinese Government on the creation of their domestic Asset Management and Fund Industry.

Today he is Chairman of Future Route (www.future-route.co.uk) whose underlying technology is based on artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The origins of the science and technology can be traced back to Bletchley Park WW2 Enigma code breaking techniques. Its engineering team, assembled around a core of specialists artificial intelligence mathematicians who work alongside an experienced software business executive team, are unique in bringing to market an everyday usable and scalable artificial intelligence solution packages for use by business users.
