Cherry lyn Calib-og also known as Chaichai, born 1 April 1992 is an undergound songwriter and guitarist. She was born in a small province of Dipolg city Zamboanga del norte,Philippines.





EARLY LIFE

Cherry lyn Calib-og was born in Dipolg city Zamboanga del norte,Philippines.Her father Albert amer Calib-og is a ex Philippine Army and her mother Maria lyn Ello Calib-og is an Government Employee.She has a younger brother Rafael Calib-og.

Cherry learned playing guitar when she was in 5th grade.



Musical style and songwriting

Chaichai believes her "songs are about being yourself no matter what and going after your dreams even if your dreams are crazy and even if people tell you they're never going to come true."

Growing up, Chaichai listened to Avril lavigne, Michelle branch, radiohead, U2, and Incubos and her influences include metal bands Kittie, Straight line stitch, Saydie, Eye set to kill, Paramore .etc.
