Rafael Lange Severino, better known as Cellbit (Florianópolis, February 11, 1997), is a Brasilian writer, streamer and youtuber. He is known for solving puzzles on his YouTube channel, for creating and directing the Tabletop RPG series and fictional universe of Paranormal Order, and for creating the game Enigma of Fear on Steam.

Cellbit was born in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina on February 11, 1997 and grew up in Carazinho, in Rio Grande do Sul. He has two brothers, Henrique and Felipe. His love for puzzle games and riddles began at an early age, when his older brother, Henrique, introduced him to the website Notpron, known as “the hardest puzzle on the internet”. Rafael and Henrique, in less than a year, managed to pass 139 of the 140 levels there were at the time, spending a total of 6 years on the last level.

In a video in which he answered questions, Lange stated that he didn't like to talk about his personal life publicly because he thought it was unnecessary and preferred to focus only on his creations.

At the age of 15, Rafael Lange started making videos for his second YouTube channel, CellBits (later changed to Cellbit). In 2012, Cellbit started making videos in the style of Minecraft “movies”. Later, he planned to create a channel focused on the game Portal 2. A while later, he started recording Minecraft videos again, but in a different format.

In 2014, Rafael started making frequent videos of the game Garry's Mod. Later, he stopped making content for the game and only recorded random games, with a few “Sagas”, such as Escaping from School and the series of videos for the game in flash Genius Quiz. During this period, Cellbit became known for his loud laughter and shrill screams, which many claimed were forced on the part of the creator.

At the age of 18, Rafael Lange got his first tattoo to, according to himself, symbolize his independence At this time, he abruptly changed his video style, abandoning gameplays and focusing on more serious topics. In July 2016, he posted a video criticizing the community of the game Minecraft in Brazil, which quickly went viral and led to Lange being nicknamed the “judge of YouTube” for a few months.

In a video entitled “CELLBIT ESTÁ FICANDO LOUCO”, Rafael revealed that he has anxiety disorder.

In February, Cellbit began his acting career when he played the character Paulinho in Internet - The Movie, a professional player of the fighting video game Street Fighter who disguises himself as a youtuber.

In July 2017, Lange posted his first video in the series “DON'T BELIEVE HIS LIES”, from the puzzle game Do Not Believe His Lies which was discontinued in 2018. The game had not been completed by anyone. The series made Lange known as “the puzzle guy”.

In 2018, Lange joined platform Twitch, where he started doing recurring livestreams, “abandoning” YouTube. Lange has become one of Twitch Brazil's best-known creators, with more than 3.3 million followers on the site.

In February 2020, Lange started his first RPG campaign called “The Paranormal Order | The Paranormal Order RPG”. In April of the same year, he ran his second campaign entitled “The Secret in the Forest RPG”.

In October 2020, Lange announced his campaign for the third season of Paranormal Order RPGs, with the name “Deconjuration” and, along with it, a financing campaign for the game Paranormal Order: Enigma of Fear in partnership with indie game developerDumativa. The target for the start of production of the game was 500,000 reais in 60 days. The goal was reached 5 hours after funding was opened on Catarse. In September 2021, Cellbit announced the 4th season of its RPG, called “Calamity”. In November of the same year, Cellbit announced the pre-sale of his first book entitled “Book of Rules - Paranormal Order RPG”.

In June 2022, Lange announced three new spin-off seasons of Paranormal Order RPGs, the first of which was entitled “The Secret on the Island” and began the week after its announcement. He also announced the production of the first graphic novel in his RPG campaign, retelling the story of the first season of Paranormal Order.

In October 2022, the second spin-off season of Paranormal Order began, named “Signs from the Other Side”.

On September 23, 2023, the first international spin-off of Paranormal Order began, named “Paranormal Order: Quarantine”.

On November 28, after 4 years of development, the game Paranormal Order: Enigma of Fear, developed in partnership with the indie game developer Dumativa, was released for PC.
