I am a pastor in the United Methodist Church and a perpetual graduate student, having attended Georgia State, Erskine Seminary and Candler School of Theology at Emory University. I am looking to get yet another degree because the person who dies with the most degrees, wins! (Just kidding.)

I am interested in the fields of:
- The Emergent Church
- Early Christianity
- John Wesley (my hero!)
- Systematic Theology but particularly the
- Theology of Methodism
- The structure of the Great Prayer of Thanksgiving in particular:
- The structures of Anaphoras of great age like:
- Evangelism as defined by Barth's missio dei
- Filmmaking
- Photography
- Publishing
- Music
- Science Fiction Shows:
- Firefly
- Star Trek of any flavor
- Battlestar Galactica
- Martial Arts
- Naruto and other Japanese Anime
My next degree with be something to do with Wesley (maybe at Duke? Emory?) I would love to do a thesis on the Emerging Church/Emergent Church as compared to the development of religious societies of the 1680's and Wesley's "Holy Club". Or perhaps I will go for a Masters of Sacred Music from Emory? Who knows?
