Gian Franco Tordi (Also known as Gianfranco L'Amore) is a Swiss-Italian, American Actor, Comedian and Writer. He was born in St. Moritz, Switzerland on February 26, 1972, to Italian parents. He grew up in St. Moritz in a high-elegant, multicultural, cosmopolitan and multi-language environment and upbringing. He spent most summers and weekends close to his roots, in Italy with his grandparents on the lake Como and in Riccione on the Adriatic Sea. After attending one of the best Swiss boarding schools and actively being involved in sports, mainly as a soccer player, later traveling the world as a professional skier and snowboarder and adventurously exploring several parts of the world and cultures, he then moved in 2000 to Los Angeles for the entertainment business and acting. He now lives in Beverly Hills,California.

Upon arriving in Los Angeles, without speaking too much English and without any connections in the industry, nor knowing anyone at all, Gian Franco quickly realized he had to do much more than most, to succeed in the competitive world that is Hollywood. And he never stopped believing and working hard. - and always with a smile. His skills are very many, his education is vast and eclectic, and he speaks 7 languages natively-fluently and with no accent.

Gian Franco studied acting at the New York Film Academy, at UCLA, and took as well several professional acting workshops in Hollywood with working Actors and Casting Directors and he keeps updating and improving himself, his skills and the craft. Although living and working in Hollywood, he is still in contact with the unique world of St. Moritz, as his family lives as well as many friends of his, still live in St. Moritz. Gian Franco possesses the Italian -style, -joy of living and -passion, the Swiss -precision,-professionalism and -reliability, as well as the American - hard work ethic, and a mindset where the answer is always "yes", let's do it ! Anything can be done.

Aside of Gian Franco's work and life passion of comedy and action, his biggest love and inspiration is his Family; His father, his mother and his brother. He visits St. Moritz and his family as often as he can. Some of Gian Franco's big likes are Comedy, Action, Romantic Comedy, Adventure, Elegance and Style.

Gian Franco's consistent drive and passion, believe and hard work is what finally led him to success and his goal, to be a working Hollywood actor.
