Description
The Project Lore episodes are separated into parts, or sub-episodes. Each week, one episode is released as a series of sub-episodes. Each episode covers one instance while the sub-episodes generally cover a single Boss enemy in that instance. The release schedule is dependent on the number of Bosses encountered in that week's instance. Alex Albrecht plays as a number of characters including DrDark, a Night Elf Rogue, Shnoobins, a Gnome Mage, and Bowbins, a Night Elf Hunter. Joshua Brentano plays as Lylelovett, a Draenei Warrior. Zand Broumand plays as Dorkins, a Dwarf Hunter. Jeff Cannata plays as a Draenei Paladin. Brandon Sato plays as Juggynaut, a Draenei Shaman. Alex, Joshua, Zand, and Jerry sit at a pair of desks on camera. Brandon plays remotely from an undisclosed location, though his voice is heard through a small speaker on set. Jerry Trainor was on the show, playing a Draenei Shaman but left after he became busy with other projects.
Format
Each episode begins with a title sequence, followed by a stand up introduction by Alex Albrecht, who describes the instance being covered in the episode including brief lore behind the instance. A cut is then made to the Trash Mobs section of the episode, a time compressed section up to the first boss that contains pop up slates containing guide information for the non boss enemies and random commentary by the players. Next, Alex does a short 'Boss Strat' while sitting, describing the strategy to use on the upcoming boss encounter. Following is the entire boss battle with comments by the players, ending with discussion of loot that drops. This format is repeated for each sub-episode, minus the title sequence and stand up intro. The final part of each episode ends with a wrap-up by Alex into the same camera as the intro. Episode release schedule is dependent on the number of bosses in the instance covered that week [1]
