Playing w/ Complex Templates

Figure 18-1. Here's the top of the infobox for the Andrew Browne Cunningham article, which was the Featured Article on the Main Page on November 28, 2007. The Infobox Military Person template created this infobox and others like it. Infoboxes normally appear in the upper-right corner of an article. The right-alignment is built into the template, so you don't need to specify it.
  • Make sure headings conform to Wikipedia standards. For example, headings should not contain wikilinks or footnotes. Headings are discussed in detail in Chapter 14, Creating Lists and Tables (the section about xx).
  • Tweak the table of contents. Avoid a lengthy table of contents, and long headings. If there isn't an image or infobox on the right, use a floating TOC (the section about xx) on the left.
