Bobby Wave (b. August 8, 1960) is an American husband, father, construction worker, wannabe musician, and half assed producer.

Born Robert George Wright, Bobby took on his new stage persona and name in 1979 while drumming for the Estonians, an early precursor to Paul Indrek (Ena) Kostabi's 80's punk phenoms "Youth Gone Mad". Soon after the disbanding of the Estonians, Bobby joined with Johnny Quist, George Baby Woods (currently of Candy Pants) and Scott Stradder in one of Orange Counties, or at least La Habra's most influential pop bands "The Charming Colors". After it was obvious the Charming Colors were moving in a differnt direction, Bobby returned to his roots with Ena and bassist Jamie Angus teaming up with LA's perennial punk rock innovator, Geza X. Soon Ena and Jamie were gone but Bobby who had formed a loose bond with Geza that would last for over a decade stayed around to be the beat box to this new Mommy Men combo. In 1983 With that years rendition of the Mommy Men fizzling due to, well, you know…Bobby found his way back to La Habra and along with Johnny Quist and Jesse Bates formed “The Clowns For Progress”. The “Clowns” quickly became La Habra’s most proficient burger stand band and before long they were hitting the LA scene and The Common Wealth Pub. With the Clowns on hiatus, Bobby returned to Geza and teamed with Terry Churchman and Kim Comet to create “The Silver Chalice” a heavy hitting shock rock combo that gave pliers and Wesson oil a whole new meaning.

Flash forward after giving it all up for a construction career and family.

Bobby is now revitalizing his interest in music, teaming up with his wife of 20 Years, Susan. They are currently working on a self produced CD due out in 2009 under the name “20 Years”.
