Hello all, I'm a newbie. Some text will be here sometime.
At this time, I create KML maps of commuter railroads, streetcars and subway systems, and add these maps to appropriate Wikipedia articles. For example, see maps of the Moscow Metro, Metrolink (Southern California) commuter rail, SEPTA Routes 101 and 102 at the right side of this page from above to below respectively.
You can see these maps directly on the page of rail system, clicking by respective links at header or end of page.
About KML templates
Before deleting of any KML template page (named like "Template:Attached_KML/Any_possible_name", please read: Template:Attached_KML, Template:Attached_KML/doc, WP:USRD/MTF/T#Creating_a_KML_file.
As KML files cannot currently be uploaded, the text of those files must be copied into a Wikipedia page:
- Template:Attached KML/[Article Title] [1]
