Blade rulz! Meanwhile in Goldrush City,

An armored car explodes. Many White Flame members surrounding it fly off to the sides. An injured Viper walks through the burning rubble. As dozens of men in white armored trench coats and hoods surround him, carrying spear likes weapons, Viper disappears. The confused men suddenly get ripped apart, as two large snakes shred them to pieces. The snakes retract into Viper's hands, who then proceeds off into an alley. Hundreds of white flames swarm upon the narrow passage, but get easily knocked aside. Viper pummels through the walls off the building, and ,as he runs through, he smashes the supports, causing the entire building to collapse onto the street of men in white. In the remains of the building, a large piece of concrete is thrown aside, and Viper gets up, dusting off his clothes. "Come get me, you bastards!!" he shouts. Seeing that there's no one around left to kill, he continues on his way.

Part 2:

"Damnit, where the hell's Socrates when you need 'im?!" says Viper as he walks down an empty street. The other part of town looks like it was hit by a hurricane. Over 15 buildings are completely destroyed. About ten White Flames appear in the distance. Their armor looks different than the other guys. They charge with their glowing weapons at Viper, who easily evades and bites each of them. As they fall, Viper notices that their skin and bones become ashes. "Finally found you, eh?" he says as he smiles. A nearby building is suddenly destroyed. Out of the smoke, comes a tall man, with long black hair, and a very long sword that's pure white. "May I presume that Crane sent you, boy?" he says. All of a sudden, a large cut appears on Viper's shoulder. Viper jumps back, and hisses at the man. "Surprised? My sword of souls has a limitless length." he says as he laughs.

Part 3

"So you must be Riotte. The boss told me to take you out." says Viper, with a laugh. "That fool shouldn't have sent a boy to do a man's job." responds the Count. In a flash, Viper and Count Riotte both charge at each other. A lightning fast snake whips past Riotte's face, and a small cut appears. On the other hand, a large insertion appears in the exact same spot on Viper's back where Riotte had attacked before.As Count Riotte strikes a second time, Viper jumps back, nearly getting cut in half in the process. As Viper falls to one knee, the Count starts laughing. "This is good bye, boy." he says as his sword gleams. Standing before Viper, he raises his sword, preparing to behead him.

Part 4

"Wha-what the-?" says Count Riotte as he tries to strike a second time. No good. His arm's still frozen in place. "What have you done to me, you little urchin?!" he demands. A smile appears on Vipers face, as his large fangs extend. "You sure took your time." he says. "What're you talking about?!" yells Count Riotte. "Is that any way to thank someone who just saved your life?" says a voice from behind Riotte. Riotte turns his head just enough to see who it is. A small hooded boy with black marks on his face is standing there. "Hello mister." he says in a childish tone. Viper gets up and his fangs impale the count's raised arm. "Another one bites the dust, huh?" says Socrates as he starts walking away. "Shut up." says Viper as he follows. All of a sudden, the sound of a blade striking, and a thud is heard.

Part 5

Viper and Socrates turn around, only to see Count Riotte chop off his own arm, with his sword of souls so that the poison doesn't spread. A wave of slashes flies toward the two Dark Phoenix members, and as they jump out of the way, a seies of scars destroys the ground the were standing on. "You think this'll stop me?!" yells Count Riotte, as he charges at the two, swinging his sword around like a mad man. "Darn. And here, I thought we'd complete this mission in peace. We didn't even run into 'him' tonight." says Socrates. Just as Viper starts speeding towards Riotte, he has to stop and dodge the fierce sword slices. He finally gets close enough to land a hard kick, and he knocks Riotte into a wall. All of a sudden, an eerie howl is heard. "Damnit, why'd he have to show up now?!" says Viper, as he looks up towards the top of a tall building.

Part 6

On the top of a building, a creepy hooded man with his face covered by a white titanium skull shaped mask stands. 2 large sets of claws emerge from his thick overcoat. He charges towards Viper and Socrates, and quickly knocks Viper into an oncoming pair of cars. Viper gets up and starts hissing. He charges at the masked man and he suddenly disappears, leaving the man clawing through air. Viper, breaks off a piece of his armor and stabs his fangs deep inside. The man stops moving for a second, but then knocks Viper off. Viper's mouth starts bleeding badly, and one of his fangs have broken off. "Just like I suspected," says Socrates. "Viper, watch out." he says, as he removes his hoodie. The markings on his face start to glow, and a wave of energy errupts. Viper, having heard Socrates, has already retreated out of the area. A blueish blast of sparking air flies at the Phantom, who stops in his tracks and starts holding his head in pain. A nearby group of white flames get hit by the wave and they fall over, unable to control their body functions.

Part 7

After about a minute, the Phantom shakes off the energy and heads towards Socrates. "Looks like it didn't work," says Viper, half-laughing. All of a sudden, Count Riotte appears behind Viper and tries cutting him in half. "Still alive, old man?" he says as he evades. "Viper, we must retreat." says Socrates. "Even though Riotte lost an arm, we still can't defeat him and the Phantom at the same time, even with both of us fighting." "Yeah, yeah. I knew already." says Viper as he smashes the Phantom into a nearby building. "Let's get out of here, then." says Socrates as he cuts off the circulation to the Count's legs, causing him to stumble, where he gets kicked in the head by Viper.

As the two start running away while their opponents are temporarily down, Socrates picks up Riotte's severed arm. He quickly slips off the horned, skull shaped ring on it, then he chucks the body part into a nearby ditch. "Mission accomplised." says Viper. "And things went exactly as Captain Crane planned." adds Socrates. All of a sudden, a large shadow appears above them. "GRRRRAAAAAAARR!" roars the masked man, as his giant claws are about to shred Viper and Socrates to pieces. Viper begins looking back, but the Phantom is too fast. Suddenly, a gun shot is heard, and the masked man falls over. A fresh bullet hole is in the middle of its forehead. About 100 meters down, at the edge of Goldrush City, a helicopter is waiting, with Crossfire reloading his gun. The masked man tries to get up again, but another gun shot is heard and he falls backward. No hole is visible though, for the bullets hit the same place twice in a row. As the Phantom grovels in pain, Viper punches his face and and rips a broken piece of his fangs out of the guy's shoulders. "I'll be taking this back, he says as he puts it into his pocket. They get on the helicopter and fly away, as the Phantom screams after them. "Boy, there sure are a lot of crazies in this city." comments Socrates.
