Hi, I'm an Postdoctoral Fellow at a major Southern Hemisphere university, where I do in vivo whole-cell recording. My PhD was on the function and regulation of GABA release; I suppose you could call me a synaptic physiologist or an electrophysiologist. I'm pretty knowledgeable about pharmacology, physiology and neuroscience. I also like to spend some time thinking about psychology, philosophy, physics and other sciences beginning with the letter p.

I'm still a bit of a newbie wiki-wise. So I hope I don't screw around with wiki-etiquette. If I did, I'm sorry, I did it out of ignorance, not malice. You can find my booze website here
