History
Inception & Optimistic Words for Pessimistic People (2007-2008)
The band was formed in the summer of 2007, by friends Wesley Parker, Brian Valentine, and Griffin LaCour. Shortly after their start, they picked up James Goodwin on bass to record their first EP,Optimistic Words for Pessimistic People, in 2008. This is the only EP known to include former drummer, Griffin LaCour.
A Standing Ovation For Sweet Temptation (2008-2010)
Shortly after the release of their first EP, the band parted ways with drummer Griffin LaCour. They soon added Kyle Whitstine on drums, and in 2010, went to New Iberia, Louisiana to record their second EP. It was titled A Standing Ovation For Sweet Temptation. The EP was never officially released, however it was streamed onto the band's "Myspace". Shortly after the release of their second EP, drummer Kyle Whitstine left the band, being replaced by Cory Beville. (2010-present) After playing multiple shows around Louisiana, the band decided to pick up Austin Parker, (2010-present) brother of Wesley Parker (guitar) on bass.
Hiatus & Reformation (2010-2012)
After playing multiple out of town shows with the new line-up, the band decided to part ways musically. Austin Parker & Wesley Parker started a side-project, and Cory Beville joined the band "MoreThanMe". The band remained on Hiatus until January, 2012, when they reformed with Wesley Parker on lead guitar, Austin Parker on rhythm guitar, Cory Beville on drums, and Brian Valentine as the vocalist. It remained this way until March, 2012, when current clean vocalist Jaylin Pearson was introduced to the band. Upon the band's reformation, they changed their morals & what they stand for, and what they portray through their music & actions.
Bring Them Forth(2012-Present)
In April, 2012, the band went to record a 3rd EP with long time friend Donnie Dauzart. The band was in the studio for 3 months when former vocalist, Brian Valentine, left the band. Austin Parker then went from rhythm guitar, to vocalist. The band is currently still in the studio. "Bring Them Forth" is an 8 track, Christian concept album about the band's personal struggles with the world, and letting the world know they are not afraid of what they stand for. It's expected release is fall-winter of 2012.
