This page is the start of an article about Chuck mangione's 1981 album entitled TARANTELLA. What I find interesting about this particular case is that this fine album has not been released in CD format. I have contacted A&M Records about this and am awaiting an answer. In 1981 Chuck Mangione released his album Tarentella, on the A&M Records lable, which had been a benefit concert for Italy's recent earthquake victims. The concert featured big names such as his longtime friend and mentor, Dizzy Gillespie, as well as Chick Corea, Steve Gadd, Chuck's brother, Gap mangione. Additional personell included Lew Soloff of Blood, Sweat and Tears, Chuck's current quartet, and many other very accomplished and recognisable talents.
