Hi, just thought I'd add this page like this for now, I might expand on it at a later date. Not much to say about my activities here, as I have only worked a few articles up to now, the main one being about the 6V6 tube. It annoyed me to be reading over and over again in different books, on various tube related web pages, in forum chats and magazine articles the ever reciting of RCA being the originator of the 6V6 tube, how this ever started I have not been able to uncover. Also, here on Wikipedia, the article as I found it had RCA listed as the originator......BUT, nowhere could I find references or sources to substantiate this claim, so I went searching, and I found several sources and references as to who the originator was, and it wasn't RCA. I decided that the best hope I had to air this information was to take an active part in the Wikipedia community. I also picked up a lot of other relevant information relating to this subject during my research, and have done my best to include it all. Since then, I have added to a few other articles, but not all that many. Nice to be here, doing my bit to help dispel disinformation, and helping to expand the freely shared accessibility of knowledge.
