Hi! This is my sandbox, where I can work on new articles or new sections of existing ones.
Ralph Nader
Citations were requested; this is my attempt at tracking some down.
Due to his work testifying before Congress, drafting model legislation, and organizing citizen letter-writing and protest efforts, Nader's activism has been credited with helping secure the passage or amendment of several landmark pieces of American consumer protection legislation, including the Freedom of Information Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, Clean Air Act, Consumer Product Safety Act, Whistleblower Protection Act, National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act, Occupational Safety and Health Act, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] He is also credited with helping shape the Environmental Protection Agency and the overall consumer movement.[5][2][7][4][8]
