Timothy P Green (Retired Fire Captain, Alameda County Fire Department) is from the East San Francisco Bay Area.

He attended Hesperian School, St John's School, Edendale Jr High, and San Lorenzo High School. In December of his senior year of high school, he enlisted (deferred) in the U.S. Air Force as a firefighter. His enlistment started in July 1982 where his basic military training was at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio Texas. After graduating basic training, he attended the Air Force Fire Academy at Chanute AFB, Illinois, where he quietly celebrated his 18th birthday. After graduation from the fire academy, Tim Green was stationed at Edwards Air Force Base in the high desert of Southern California as a firefighter. The Edwards AFB Fire Dept was about half civilian and half military at that tine. Tim Green's first supervisor was a civilian (Frank Morabido). Tim Green was assigned to the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles as part of Task Forxe Grizzlie. Later that year, he fought fire during the CID (Controlled Impact Demonstration at Edwards AFB and was the first firefighter to enter and fight fire in the fuselage of the burning aircraft.
