== Human Rights Journalism == Human Rights (HR) Journalism is a rapidly growing genre of mainstream journalism in the world. To cater the objectives of human rights principles into everyday practice through media advocacy is the main goal of HR journalism. In fact, all journalism goals are focused to establish the human values and social betterment. However, this genre of journalism has been developed to raise the advocacy of the grass-roots people in order to establish the minimum values of social justice, democratization, rule of law and make everybody to exercise their rights of freedom of expression.
A group of journalists in Ghana have formed a group of human rights journalists in 2003. Similarly in the same year, human rights reporting handbook was published in Geneva. In Nepal, a book entitled Human Rights Journalism: Principle and Practice was published in 2007. Human rights beat journalists are making a closure tie among the like minded journalists and organizations. So, it's a newly established genre of journalis.
