Checkers variations: King checkers: Each player begins with one king only. Each king may roll dice. Whatever unoccupied square the dice lands on becomes occupied by a checker. Opposing checkers must be jumped if they are in the path of a checker created by dice rolling. Dice rolling ends when all checkers are put on the board. From there on the game follows standard checker rules. Note: Only the original kings may roll dice and thus create checkers
