Mystic Stylez is the debut album of the American hip hop group Three 6 Mafia. It was published in 1995 through Prophet Entertainment, a recording label previously owned by members DJ Paul and Juicy J. The album spawned no number one hits, but proceeded to get radio play in their hometown of Memphis, Tennessee.
Compared to later albums, Mystic Stylez is considerably darker in tone. Decidedly horrorcore in sound, the group describes elaborate scenes of violence, murder, theft, and drug use. Also included is the song "Live by Yo Rep (B.O.N.E. Dis)", a diss song directed toward Bone Thugs-n-Harmony in response to a disparaging remark about Memphis. References to occultism and Satan are also much more prevalent in this album, something Three 6 Mafia would shy away from in their later releases.
