Andrew (Andrey) Eris (real name Andreas fon Eris) (b.1962) The US Russian writer, the descendant of the land owner and the industrialist killed in 1923 at attempt of emigration to Estonia (Tallinn). The monarchist, author of stories and novelles. Collections: " Rooster in Wine " (2001), "Nero", (2003) "Sergey Ivanovich" etc. He is last representative of Russian school of symbolism. The general theme uniting his works is the monarchy, restoration of the serfdom and suffering of the descendant of Russian nobility to fragile about a surface of life by the created authority of workers and peasants, and also inevitability of destruction of the person of the common people crushed by authority. A.Erisa's literary works are the invaluable contribution to the Russian classical literature.
