The "Tilly" series was a set of slapstick silent films produced between 1910 and 1915 by Cecil Hepworth of Hepworth Pictures. They starred two young women (the "Tilly Sisters" or "Tilly Girls") who would behave outrageously, getting into complicated and anarchic adventures, and playing sometimes violent pranks on adults around them. The stars, Alma Taylor and Chrissie White, would go on to be very prominent figures in 1920s British cinema. Two of the films, and a fragment of the third, survive today.
