Professional History

In 1997 Alan founded MediaGates Ltd, a full service web agency. Over a period of two and a half years, Alan successfully grew the business, using a PR and a Direct Marketing Strategy to raise the company's brand image. In 1999 Alan sold the company to a private investor.

In 2000 Alan Devlin joined global executive recruitment firm, Antal International, as Global Dotcom Manager. He successfully developed, in conjunction with Antal International’s software engineers in Hungary, a total labour supply chain management tool.

Alan joined Webfactory in 2001. As Commercial Director he has developed the company's international business and built upon the company's established brand image in the Irish and European markets. Since joining Alan has been responsible for developing strategic new accounts such as Riverdance, Heineken, The Irish Times and Coca-Cola among others. In addition, Alan also consults with Webfactory clients on a regular basis, especially in the area of improving site revenues and ROIs.
