Wikipedia user AlabamaPunk113 was born James Richard Young on January 13, 1988 in Mt. Holly, NJ, just miles from McGuire Air Force Base where both of his parents were stationed. His parents were re-stationed to Edwards Air Force Base in California and James and his family lived in the town of California City. His parents were seperated in 1991 and the divorce became final in 1994 after which, he, his mother, Bonnie and his sister Jennifer moved to Summerville, South Carolina after his mother was stationed at North Charleston Air Force Base in North Charleston, South Carolina. They lived there until October 1997 when his mother retired as Master Sergeant, the highest rank obtainable by a non-combat member of the United States Air Force. After his mother's retirement, the family moved to the matriarch's hometown in Clinton County, Pennsylvania. They lived with James' grandparents, Walter and Alma until they found a house in Beech Creek, PA. He attended Liberty Curtin Elementary School for the remainder of his 4th grade year and his entire 5th grade year after which he attended Central Mountain Middle and High Schools until his graduation in 2006. He has been playing guitar for almost a decade and started his first band, Society's Downfall with best friend Zachary Spotts, Asa Brickley, and Tom Crawford in 2002. The band lasted until 2005, playing their last show with Deep Enough To Die from Philadelphia, PA and A Love Or Envy from Lock Haven, PA in their friend's garage. The group disbanded after Asa and Tom had other personal endeavors they wanted to acheive. Zach and James later formed the band During the End with guitarists Chucky Marsh and Randy Laubauch and drummer David Hayes with James supplying the bass lines and background vocals and Zach providing lead vocal duties. James later left the band due to his acceptance at the Harrisburg Area Community College in Harrisburg, PA. Zach was later kicked out of the band due to musical differences. James would complete a semester at HACC until dropping out so he could move to Alabama to be closer to his estranged father Rick. In August of 2007, James moved out of his father's house due to a heated conflict and moved to Ft. Payne, AL. In July, 2008, James would be accepted as the singer of the screamo/punk/post-hardcore band the Extrication Sequence. The band has yet to play a show or record but are in the process of writing original songs for their first show. Zach is currently the lead singer for metalcore/hardcore band Amber's Last Dismay from Lock Haven, PA.

James currently lives with his girlfriend Samantha and her two children, Dillon and Brandon. The two plan to marry on September 12, 2009, their 2 year anniversary.
