Article: International human rights law
The International Human Rights Law is often referred to as IHRL main goal has always been to prevent conflict in resolving an issue, [1] and to make sure everyone has their basic rights, regardless of their ethnicity.[2] The UN adopted the International human rights law on December 10, 1948.[2] All UN members and states have approved of one of the nine international human rights treaties to get to the common goal of basic human rights under the International Bill of Human Rights. With the International Bill of Human Rights, the states under the UN does not allow any alterations to the International Human Rights. International human rights law is mainly state-centered[3]. The history of The Geneva Convention of 1864 plays a big part in the International Human Rights Law.[4] Three common problems that might cause a problem with the IHRL, the authority that might demand certain for your human rights away (someone with authority spy’s on the public without telling the public). Hindrance (storing and collecting data from someone's life). The mandatory human rights (being arrested, kidnapped, and imprisoned by foreign countries). [3]
