Wikipedia:IRC - (Explanation of what the IRC Channel is)
IRC Chat Room - This link will take your to the official Wikipedia IRC chat room, please note, clicking this link will take you off of Wikipedia, and take you to KiwiIRC's server where administrators, helpers, and other guests and members hang out to answer questions. Most of the links here, were found from them!
Wikipedia Projects - I Encourage everyone who wants to take an extra step forward to check out some projects Wikipedia has to offer for us to contribute to!
Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit - Wikipedia has a vandalism unit, that specifically takes reports of vandalism and takes action on the accounts involved, and also has a team within the project to replace and protect articles from being vandalised.
Creating Your first article - I'd recommend reading over this to know how to properly cite, use images, and also remain objective on creating an article for the first time on Wikipedia. If you have any questions you can always use the IRC Chat Room, or Contact the Help Desk by clicking on those links, they will take your directly to both resources offered.
Citing sources - Here is a detailed article that shows the importance and value of citing verifiable citations for your article edits, and creations.
